The First Lecture

The Fruits of Our; Desires, Thoughts, Words and Deeds

Under the Theme

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction: whoever sows to please the spirit, from the spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6: 7 - 9)

Introduction

     From our daily life, it’s clearly that our good; desires, thoughts, words and deeds often bring good results and our bad; desires, thoughts, words and deeds often bring bad results. Therefore, we can call the results or outcomes of our; desires, thoughts, words and deeds as fruits of our lives.    

The Good Fruits of Our Good; Desires, Thoughts, Words and Deeds

     Below are some examples for the blessings that will come upon and through our lives in case we obey some words of God:

1.     When we become committed to the life of holiness, by avoiding the life of sins or crimes, which is required by God’s word, we will be in union with God spiritually, by then the following will happen; devil cannot control and manage our lives through sins + our lives will glorify God not devil + we will enjoy God’s peace in our minds and hearts + we will please God not devil + God’s servants or ministers will become very; courageous, proud and ambitious in their services or ministries  + we will love the word of God because it encourages and empowers us always +  God’s children will not go back to the world because of their hate to the sins and dirtiness of the world + we will bring respect to our; selves, families, Church and communities by then we will be; thanked, honored, praised, etc. + because of avoiding the sinful life we will avoid; imprisonment due to crimes, being fined due to crimes, chased from our houses or communities or places of work or places of studies or countries due to crimes+ because of avoiding the sin of adultery we will prevent; some bad diseases from ourselves, spreading of such bad diseases to others, bringing illegal and un wanted children to our families, bringing of divorces to our families, encouraging the children and teenagers of our families and communities to commit adultery and raping +  because of avoiding the sin of killing we will avoid a lot of curses from our; selves, families and communities + because of avoiding the sin of drunkenness we will avoid destroying or damaging our; health, finances, families and communities as well + others.

2.     When we become committed to the life of love which is required by the word of God, among ourselves as Christians and with others too, we will enjoy very good relationships among ourselves, by then the following will happen; we will enjoy the life of carefulness among ourselves + the rich ones will help the poor ones within one church or family or community willingly and happily + there will not be hatred and separation among ourselves + we will not lack the spirit of team work among ourselves + others.

3.     When we become committed to the life of prayer which is required by the word of God, we will maintain or strengthen our spiritual communication with God, by then the following will happen; we will enjoy dreams and visions from God + the spirit of God can speak inside us in our conscious or spirit + we will become full and hot spiritually + God’s servants or ministers will have the anointment of Holy Spirit in their services or ministries + we will not fall into temptations repeatedly + others.

4.     When we become committed to the life of fasting which is required by the word of God, we will become spiritual strong enough, by then the following will happen; we will have authority over evil spirits + we will be matured spiritually + devil’s agents will fear us + we can do great achievements in God’s Kingdom + always we can be able to control ourselves from sins + others.

5.     When we read and study the word of God that is in the Holy Bible, deeply and regularly, as its required for us to do so, we will have enough knowledge about God’s will or about His word, by then the following will happen; we will be aware about God’s word in general + we can’t be cheated by false teachers and prophets + we will live according to God’s word because we have it + we can teach others with God’s word perfectly + for God’s servants or ministers they will deliver very rich services or ministries because of their deep knowledge and understanding + we will have true and blessed wisdom because we can get it from God’s word + others.

6.     When we become committed to the life of fellowship (meeting together continuously) with other Christians which is required by the word of God, we will grow well spiritually, by then the following will happen; we will benefit from each other + we will enjoy team work among ourselves + no any fellow Christians will face any types of spiritual and non-spiritual weaknesses without being assisted by others + there will be vital growth in the Church or group level if the majority of them are committed to the life of fellowship + others.

7.     When we become committed to the life of stewardship (giving of tithes and offertories to God’s ministries/ services and ministers/ servants) which is required by the word of God, we will enjoy financial blessings, by then the following will happen; life of financial richness on; personnel, family, community and Church levels + getting of employment easily + blessed employment + financial satisfaction + helping others financially + you will not be forced to engage yourself in some illegal financial practices, directly or indirectly, willingly or unwillingly, such as; financial corruption, stealing,  etc. + success in businesses + good development in community level in case the majority of the community members are committed to the life of stewardship when they are Christians + others.

The Bad Fruits of Our Bad; Desires, Thoughts, Words and Deeds

     Below are some examples for the curses that will come upon and through our lives in case we disobey some words of God:

1.     When we neglect the life of holiness, by living in sins or crimes, which is required by God’s word, we will separate from God spiritually, by then the following will happen; devil will control and manage our lives through sins + our lives will not give glory to God but to devil + we will not have God’s peace in our minds and hearts + we will not please God but devil + some God’s servants or ministers will stop God’s work because of sins and shame + some of us will hate the word of God because it rebukes their sins + some God’s children will go back to the world because of their love to sins + we will bring shame on ourselves or families or Church or community by being; laughed at, insulted, mocked at, categorized as bad people, etc. + because of our sins we might be; beaten, imprisoned, killed, fined, chased from our houses or communities or places of work or places of studies or countries + because of the sin of adultery we will; bring some bad diseases to ourselves, spread such bad diseases to others, bring illegal and un wanted children to our families, bring divorces to our families, encouraging the children and teenagers of our families and communities to commit adultery and raping + because of the sin of killing we will bring curses to our; selves, families and communities + because of the sin of drunkenness we will destroy or damage our; health, finances, families and communities as well + others.

2.     When we neglect the life of love which is required by the word of God, among ourselves as Christians and with others too, we will enjoy poor relationships among ourselves, by then the following will happen; we will enjoy the life of carelessness among ourselves + the rich ones will not help the poor ones even within one church or family or community + we will develop hatred and separation among ourselves + we will lack the spirit of team work among ourselves + others.

3.     When we neglect the life of prayer which is required by the word of God, we will lose the spiritual communication with God, by then the following will happen; we will not enjoy dreams and visions from God + the spirit of God cannot speak inside us in our conscious or spirit + we will become poor and cold spiritually + God’s servants or ministers will not have the anointment of Holy Spirit in their services or ministries + we will fall into temptations repeatedly + others.

4.     When we neglect the life of fasting which is required by the word of God, we will become spiritual weak, by then the following will happen; we will not have authority over evil spirits + we will not be matured spiritually + devil’s agents will not fear us + we can’t do great achievements in God’s Kingdom + sometimes we will not be able to control ourselves from some sins + others.

5.     When we neglect reading and studying the word of God that is in the Holy Bible, deeply and regularly, as its required for us to do so, we will not have enough knowledge about God’s will or about His word, by then the following will happen; we will be ignorant about God’s word even His ten commandments + we can be cheated easily by false teachers and prophets + we can’t live according to God’s word because we lack it + we can’t teach others with God’s word perfectly instead we ought to be taught + for God’s servants or ministers they will deliver very poor services or ministries because of their shallow knowledge and understanding + we will not have true and blessed wisdom because we can get it only from God’s word + others.

6.     When we neglect the life of fellowship (meeting together continuously) with other Christians which is required by the word of God, we will not grow well spiritually, by then the following will happen; we will not benefit from each other + we will lack team work among ourselves + some fellow Christians will face different types of spiritual and non-spiritual weaknesses without being assisted by others + there will not be any vital growth in the Church or group level if the majority of them are not committed to the life of fellowship + others.

7.     When we neglect the life of stewardship (giving of tithes and offertories to God’s ministries/ services and ministers/ servants) which is required by the word of God, we will not enjoy financial blessings, by then the following will happen: life of poverty on; personnel, family, community and Church levels + life of idleness + poor employment + financial deficient + life of debts + engagements in some illegal financial practices, directly or indirectly, willingly or unwillingly, such as; financial corruption, stealing,  etc. + life of begging + failure in businesses + no good development in community level in case the majority of the community members are not committed to the life of stewardship when they are Christians + others.

Conclusion

Based on what have been mentioned before, all the readers of this lecture or the participants of this program, are kindly asked to live positively and according to God’s word through good; desires, thoughts, speeches and deeds so that they can enjoy positive live full of God’s blessings.
