Message of Repentance to South Sudanese People world-wide
In the name of the Father, the Son
and the Holy Spirit

Message of Repentance, the Eighth
Edition
Under the Theme
“The right time has come, he said,
and the Kingdom of (the Living) God is near! Turn away from your sins and
believe the good news!” (Mark 1: 15)
To: the South Sudanese People worldwide and to the Foreigners
who live in South Sudan.
Introduction:
Our country South
Sudan, since the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) on 9th
January 2005 and up to now, has passed and still passing through so many
problems which are considering according to the Holy Bible as curses
(Deuteronomy 28: 15- 67).
God’s Anger upon South Sudan
The following are
details of the problems that are facing our country and they are considering as
God’s curses upon South Sudan; land, people and government. Because of His
anger upon our country and these problems are; the wide spreading of diseases,
war and insecurity in general, drought or dryness, floods, lack of good
development in all sectors, the control of foreigners on our economy, hunger or
famine, etc.
Reasons of God’s Anger upon South
Sudan
1.
We as South Sudanese people in general and Christians
in particular, failed to give thanks to God as a Nation or as a Church of South
Sudan (I mean all Christians) for both the Comprehensive peace Agreement (CPA)
and the Independence of our country, but instead of that we are claim to get
them by our own power. We turned our backs to God! (Luke 17:11- 19).
2.
Most of the South Sudanese in addition to the
foreigners who live in South Sudan, do behave against God’s will or law by
committing all types of sins or crimes on top of them: playing sex out of
marriage such as; adultery, prostitution, sex trade, raping, etc. All types of
stealing such as; normal stealing, looting, bribery, financial corruption in
governmental and non-governmental institutions, etc. All types of killing such
as; through gunshot, poisons, abortion, witch-doctors and magicians, etc.
Drunkenness, works of witch-doctors and magicians, tribalism, etc. (Roman
1:18-32).
3.
Absence or weakness of the role of churches in
fighting sins or crimes- why?
a. Most of church
leaders are very cold and weak in spirit that is why they are lazy and
irresponsible to their duties (Revelation 3:14-22).
b. Many servants or
ministers of churches have stopped ministering after 9th Jan 2005,
because of; the high posts in Governmental and Non-Governmental institutions,
the carelessness of some top Churches’ leaders to those Servants or Ministers, by
engaging themselves in their private projects apart from God’s work, falling in
some sins meanwhile they refuse to; confess, repent and renew their lives, etc.
(1 Timothy 4:9-12).
c. No care from our
government towards churches even though most of the government leaders are (or
claim to be) Christians.
What shall we do, brothers and
sisters (Acts 2:37-41)
1.
All the South Sudanese people and the foreigners who
live in South Sudan must repent from their sins (or must stop their crimes) now
not later on. Moreover, we must fight sins or crimes jointly by both religious
and governmental institutions.
2.
As Christians or any other religion’s followers, let
us not waste our time or let us not disturb our Living God by praying for;
peace, development and prosperity for our country, unless we repent first from
our sins or crimes on top of them; Adultery, prostitution, stealing, financial
corruption in governmental and non-governmental institutions, the works of
witch- doctors and magicians, killing, tribalism, neglecting of Christians and
churches’ leaders to their duties, etc. No need for us to pray before
repentance (or Stopping our Sins or crimes), because God will not answer our
prayers and even though peace comes, it will be a dead peace that will not last
long. (Isaiah 59:1-21/ 1 Peter 3:10-12).
3.
As South Sudanese people let us not hope to be a good,
prosperous and blessed nation, unless we choose the Living God, the creator of
Heavens and earth to be our only God (Psalm 33:12-22/ 1Peter 4:1-11).
4.
As South Sudanese people, let us not expect any good
things to happen in our country more than what we have now, unless we know the
will or law of God and obey it in our daily life (Deuteronomy 28:1-67/ Mathew
7:24-27).
5.
We must organize the following Programs:
a. Annual
Thanks-giving Prayer for the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) to be
organized on 9th January, every year by churches, etc.
b. Annual Thanks-giving Prayer for the
Independence Day of South Sudan, to be organized on 9th July every
year by churches, etc.
c. A Nation Wide
Program of Fasting and Prayer for Repentance have to be organized on Tuesday 16th.
May, 2017 (if possible) by the leaders of all faith base institutions (who worship the True God,
the Creator of heavens and earth) through the help of (KLGC) and according to
what have been mentioned in (Esther 4: 1 – 17/ Jonah 3: 1 – 10).
